A conflict matters whenever a reasonable reader would want to know that a game has a material connection to the people behind the site.

• Any game that is made, published, funded, advised on, or otherwise materially connected to the Meaningful Games team carries a visible affiliation disclosure.
• Affiliated games never get preferential ranking.
• Affiliated games are never added to editor's picks or editorial collections automatically.
• Affiliated games get a meaningfulness rating only after appropriate independent review.

Suggesting a game

• Suggestions can come from parents, teachers, players, or anyone else who thinks a game belongs in the catalog.
• A suggestion does not guarantee coverage, inclusion, or a positive review.

The catalog is shaped by editorial judgment, so a suggestion is a lead for consideration rather than a promise that a page will appear.

For developers

• Writing to us as a developer does not guarantee coverage or a positive review.
• It does not guarantee a high meaningfulness score or a place in a collection or recommendation list.

There is no developer submission form. You can still send relevant factual information through the contact page; editorial decisions stay independent.

Advertising and paid placement

Meaningful Games carries no advertising, sponsorship, or paid placement. If that ever changes, none of it will affect:

• meaningfulness score
• evidence level
• editorial recommendation
• collection membership
